Speakeasy Blues Fulfillment Update

Hi everyone.  Hope you've been enjoying the end of summer and, if you're in the US, are looking forward to the coming holiday weekend.  Tonight is just a short update, but it's a big one.

First, all games have cleared customs in each region and are at the depots.  Which means...

Yup.  We're delighted to announce that worldwide fulfillment has begun.  Backer lists have been released to all depots and you should all be receiving your games very soon!

Thank you all for your support and for making another project come to life for us.  We hope you enjoy Speakeasy Blues as much as we enjoyed making it. So, happy gaming, and may each of your speakeasies be the bees knees!

Shipping Update and Final Gen Con Pick Up Details

Hi everyone!  Just a quick update today letting you know how things are coming along getting you your copies of Speakeasy Blues.

Regional Fulfillment

First, games have left the factory and are on their way to the worldwide regional depots.  Based on current transit times and depot schedules, we estimate beginning regional fulfillment as follows:

• APAC - Next week
• European Union - In the next two weeks
• North America, South America, and Rest of World - Late August or very early September

We'll keep you posted as fulfillment continues.

Gen Con Backer Pick Up

As in previous campaigns, we ARE going to be able to offer backer pick up at our Gen Con booth (1159).  We just sent out the survey via email to everyone about this so if you (or a designated friend) are attending please respond and we'll have your copy read for you there!  

We're in the home stretch now and are excited to get you your games soon!  Thank you for your support.

BIG Update - Production Status, Pix, Shipping, Gen Con Pickups, and More!

Hi Everyone!

We've been waiting to post this update until we had a more clear sense of production and shipping.  We now have all the details so, without further ado, on to all the news...

Production Is Complete

Yep - the games are finished and everything looks awesome!  The resin hooch bottles are fantastic and all of the components came together really well so we're super pleased.  Here are a few pictures from a copy we had air shipped to us.

Shipping to Depots

All of the games are now shrink wrapped, in cartons, and palletized ready to head out.  We expect them to go to the port this week for shipping to fulfillment depots.  As we mentioned in a previous post, we had a few hold ups on our end figuring out some component issues and finalizing production, but we still expect to get the games to you very soon.  Assuming no customs delays or random acts of capricious gamer gods, we're estimating the following timetable to put rewards in your hands for various regions:

• APAC - Late July
• North America, South America, European Union, and Rest of World - August

We'll keep you updated as we get more shipping details over the next few weeks and will do everything we can to move things along as quickly as possible.

Gen Con Pickups

On that note, as we've done in many prior campaigns, we're pleased to announce that we will be offering Gen Con pickups to backers!  We're air shipping copies in for the show and anyone attending can get their games there from us directly at Booth 1159 in our usual location.

We'll be sending around a survey to see who wants to pick up at Gen Con so please look for this in your email if you plan on attending.  You'll also be able to let us know in the survey if you're not attending but have a friend who is that you want to pick up your copy.  

We're looking forward to seeing many of you again in Indy!  And, if you stop by the booth, you'll also be able to demo a future title or two that we're going to announce soon... :-)

That's the news for now.  We're entering the home stretch so expect the updates to come more regularly throughout the remainder of the fulfillment process.

Pledge Manager Time!

Hi everyone and Happy Mothers Day! 

Today is just a quick update letting you know that you'll be receiving an email shortly inviting you to the pledge manager for the Speakeasy Blues campaign survey. A few points to note:

• Please provide your details to the pledge manager as soon as possible. We need your info to determine how many copies go to each depot around the world; plus, if you don't provide this info we can't ship anything to you! 
  
• We're using BackerKit again as our campaign pledge manager. For those of you who are new here or if you haven't already, you'll need to create an account with BackerKit to complete the survey. It's painless and free though so hopefully that's no problem for people. BackerKit makes it really easy for us to fulfill your rewards correctly so it's worth the extra step! 
  
• Many of you wanted to order extra copies of Speakeasy Blues. You'll be able to do that in the add-on section of the pledge manager. 
  
• Also, we created some additional backer specials in the add-ons section as well if you want to pick up some extra goodies!  These include Tesla vs. Edison: Duel - our latest heads up two-player game.  We also have a mega bundle of the TvE base game.  Einstein, of course, our light tile-laying game is fun for the whole family and has its own bundle including the new Genius Expansion; we also found a few remaining Broken Token organizers for Einstein and put these up at a HUGE discount.  Finally, we still a have some last bundles of the New Science.  Enjoy the add-ons!

ITTD Weekend Update

Happy International Tabletop Day weekend to all of you!  We hope you're playing great stuff and having a blast.  We thought this was a good occasion to send out another update and keep you all posted of how thing are progressing.

Components are looking fantastic.  Here's the latest picture of the speakeasy dice.  We're really pleased with their final iteration and they feel great in your hand.  In case you missed our prior update, here's a picture of the resin hooch bottles as well.

Also, we wanted to provide you with a quick production update. Things are coming along well though we've had some delays getting the non-printed components exactly right so we were satisfied. This is solved now and shouldn't greatly impact fulfillment times, but our current thinking is that we might roll over into July instead of June for getting your rewards out to you. We'll definitely keep you posted as we know more here.

Finally, you'll be receiving an email later this week inviting you to the pledge manager. Please provide your shipping info and the other details we need to get you your rewards. As we get closer to fulfillment, we want to be sure we have everything in advance so that all flows smoothly.
